Tinie's been mixing with the big bois lately, getting collaborations with JLS, Kelly Rowland and even college dropout Ellie Goulding. However he's come over all grimey in his latest and most awaited duet with whodat Chase and Status.
We all enjoyed Tinie's foray into singalong pop choruses and sparkly jackets as of late, but the time's come around for him to scrape back the autotune and step back to the real talk - forget writing in the stars and singing in the rain, think black cars, black cards and ripping off Wiley.
This track's harder than latecomers to the Tempah tantrum might be expecting, but that's by no means a bad thing - it's no secret that Game Over was my song of 2010, and this release follows that stripped back, heavy beat, path to great effect, dragging Tinie out of the rainbows and glitter and into the egotistical badman world of lite Grime.
Chase and Status do well here, building on their considerable exploration of genres, and giving the UK's hottest rapper a solid foundation and boosting highlights, all whilst giving us drunken revellers something to move to.
I still miss Labyrinth though
